INFM Receives Fundraising Grant

Saxophone with music announcing INFM Receives Fundraising Grant

We are excited to announce that the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) awarded If Not for Music a Program Development grant to support our fundraising efforts! There were 43 applications nationwide and only one award granted.

"We are thrilled that MTNA recognized the strategic importance of our work and funded our grant proposal" said Dr. Roger Mustalish, Chair of the Board of Directors. "The grant will enable us to better position INFM before donors and granting agencies and enhance opportunities for new funds in support of our mission areas," he added.

The MTNA funds will be used to produce a series of video, digital and hardcopy marketing products to delineate the needs of aspiring musicians in need in southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Delaware; document how music benefits us all emotionally and physically; and chronicle how we have made meaningful impacts on the lives of musicians and audiences through our efforts. The one-year project begins July 1, 2024.

INFM is an institutional member of the Music Teachers National Association.
